The amount of K-pop groups and idols promoting at any given time makes it almost impossible to have a truly original concept.

Furthermore, add in the various different concepts each group tries, and copying accusations are sure to follow.
Luckily for SHINee however, Netizens are taking notice of how well the group sticks to their own path. Recently it was discovered in a popular Korean forum that netizens were raving about SHINee's originality in the concept for their new song, "Married to the Music."
According to Koreaboo, Korean netizens were specifically impressed that SHINee could make such a creepy concept work.
"I think that out of all idols, SHINee is the only group that can pull off this concept," said one Netizen (via Koreaboo).
Other netizens praised SHINee for how versatile the group has been over the years.
"I don't think there's been a group in the history of SM that has gone through as variety of colors as SHINee has. I think their concepts are some of the best in the idol industry," commented another netizen (via Netizenbuzz).
The concept in question for "Married to the Music" video involves the members of SHINee visiting a haunted house and having various body parts removed to form the ultimate husband for mysterious bride. Some fans theorized that the last face in the music video is a combination of different features from each member, but it has yet to be officially confirmed.
"Married to the Music" is the repackage of SHINee's fourth studio album "Odd." The repackage contains the songs from "Odd" as well as four new tracks. The repackaged album was released on Aug. 3 and topped seven realtime music charts including Melon, Bugs Music, Naver Music, and Mnet.
Given the steep competition, it may seem like a risk to try any concept that seems too far from normal. SHINee however has proven there's plenty of praise and success to come when you can pull off original concepts time after time again.
Even when it's as blatant as calling themselves "Odd."
